Hi i'm from projectcomment.deviantart.com/

I love the body proportions of the woman. Her torso, legs, and arms aren't to big or to small for the body. Anatomy is important because viewers would be distracted by the mal- body proportions in this piece because your vision was not to make a cartoony character. The mood is set well, since the colours are simple and they're just black and white a somber mood is created. And the way that she is placed looking down unto the floor, makes it seem a bit more tragic. The curves of her body to her hair makes it that the viewer looking into the piece has a trail to follow. These curves create movement. I don't particularly enjoy the hair. The hair, although also portrays movement has a strange stop to it, instead of the hair collecting with each other on the floor it loses its shape and dissolves. The hair on the top looks like just a strand of fabric rather than hair. This makes viewers stop abruptly when they reach the floor. Maybe if you shown a bit of the face and the hair drooped on both sides, and then falling unto the floor entirely, would stop this abrupt cloth like hair. The shading needs some work, your shading didn't follow a specific light source, in the arms and hair it seems as though the light is on her left side facing her, but on her body and legs it seems as though the light source is right above her. When drawing something make sure where the light is coming from and stick to it. Bad shading makes it that the realism and liveliness dissipates.

All and all, you did a fantastic job with the drawing but of course there's no such thing as a perfect drawing.
