this looks really good the body is amazing one thing i have a critiqe for is the face and face anatomy the face looks very long and angular and looks like 2 different people drew the face and body the lines on the face are very shakey and they have like a white border around it the eyes a nd nose also look odd but overall solid pice

Awesome! Mikasa looks really cute here, though you should practice more on perception because there's something that's just off with her perception and also proportion and shading. :D

Wow, that's awesome!I like the shading, however I didn't think Mikasa's eyes were blue? The expression is nice, too!I think you forgot the scar on her cheek

I  love this! You did an amazing job! I just have a few suggestions. Have you tried making the shadows darker? Darker shadows make things look more dramatic, dynamic, whatever word you would use to describe it. I can tell you worked very hard on it. But every drawing, painting, etc could use inprovement. Don't be afraid to add shiny-ness to hair, metal, even sometimes clothes! :)
The face could be more semetrical, though. And the face could use more shadows. Especially her nose.
I noticed that in a reply to someone's comment on this drawing you said that you will draw her again. Try taking these suggestions into mind?
Try making her legs a little bit more shadowed so that it looks more like her torso is closer tot he viewers than her legs. The highlights on her hair could be lighter. White works great for highlights. But for blond hair I mostly use a tan-ish color. But it's up to you to do any of my suggestions.
I love how dynamic the whole scene is! I DO think that her hair could be blown back a bit though. Her jacket and skirt are, but her hair isn't.
I think her neck should be shadowed more. Her head is in front of it, therefore, casting a bigger and darker shadow on her neck.
And her arms aren't very proportionate. Quick tip: Try making metal shiny. White works best for most shiny things, but I guess everyone is different.
I don't say any of this to offend you. I just believe that you can do better. :)

Have a great day! :)

EEEEyyyy! It's Mikasa! I've been thinking of drawing Mikasa myself! I think you really nailed the positioning of the body. Maybe shade the legs a bit more to make it appear like it's a bit farther back. Also move her nose a tad to the left. I'm sure people have already said all this though ;) . Overall, pretty good! XD :Bummies:

The composition for this is great, I like your style for drawing Mikasa, and the uniform is fantastic!!! I did notice that Mikasa's eyes are a bit large for her face, her jaw is lopsided, her left eyebrow is missing, and her hair sticks out on the right side. Lowering the point where the jaw angles downward on the left side and slightly extending the downward-angled jaw line on the left should even it out more. Enlarging her nose and drawing her eyes a bit smaller would make her eyes seem more proportionate. Because of the air rushing at her body and face, as evidenced by her jacket and scarf, drawing the hair on both sides as flowing behind and slightly outward would increase uniformity.
Thanks for bothering to read this long comment. Great work here! I really liked it!

I like how you drew Mikasa she looks very good but there are two things I think you could add to her to
make her even better.

1. Her eyes look blue to me, if you could, make them a light gray because that's what they were in the anime.
Or you could them black like they were in the manga.

2. the lighting in her hair is good but you should make the wight lines more wrinkly like you see in the anime.

Other wise it's awesome keep up the good work! :D (Big Grin) CURSE YOU!

Wow, great job on the details in this piece :). You did a great job on the shading / lighting in the photo. Also it looks great were you placed the wrinkle lines in the cloth. Keep up the good work I like it.

Hello Jeriv. Brought here by Project Comment.

This is a well colored pictured, given the impression of a still from the video of an anime series. It also gives a good sense of perspective.
The face I think could use better proportion, especially around the chin area. The lines could be made more solid, and as you practice they will no doubt improve. I think it comes down to greater confidence. The background is also a little plain. Otherwise I think its pretty good.

very nice work! It really looks like mikasa and the body proportions are also quite right. I also like her pose and her facial expression. Just like mikasa (the eyes are maybe a bit too big, but I could also be wrong) but I think the colors are a small problem. They are not wrong, but they look very alike. I mean that the characteristics of every part is the same. Face, jacket and pants are different materials, but you can't really see it.  You can't really see that the face is made of skin and the jacket is made of leather. Because of this color problem the picture has not the dynamic effect it should have. It would help to the dynamic if you draw a more specific background and make it blurry. But I think that all this is a matter of practice and experience, so don't worry about it. I'm sure that after several more drawings this will be no problem anymore! Overall an awesome drawing!

thanks for the feedback! I definitely need to work on textures, and i'll try to keep that in mind with further pieces. To be honest the background in the Mikasa pic was to off-set the colors in her skin (which didn't look good on a white background) so it was somewhat of an afterthought. I see your point on making the background more detailed though, it would bring a lot to the piece.

Thanks again for the compliments and feedback :)

This is actually pretty good. The pose is well done, and the cell shading looks really good and is a little close to the original style of the show. You've made the wrinkles in her clothes and the details on her buckles and all that other stuff very fleshed out and interesting. This doesn't look flat.

But one issue is that with how small the picture is, she's cut off too much. Cutting off a character or having a part of them go off the page can work, but with how this is composition I think this would be better if you gave it more room to see her whole body.

Also, the sky is a little sloppy. Maybe render out the clouds more.

Loving the color and shadework here, you've done a great job with highlighting the shadows formed by the creases in the jacket and pants. About the only two areas I can offer obvservation on improvement is some slightly better shading/coloration for the face (looks a tad flat) and the general linework is still a bit blurry. Could just be a case of the tablet or software, but overall the piece is still solid all around.

I love the action in this piece, and the detail is amazing -- right down to the same sword being on top ni both shoulder patches. I love the shading and use of colors throughout, with the gradations in some spots and hard contrasts in others. Really well done.
